I volunteer in ScienceAbroad (see below) as a regional manager for UC Berkeley. In addition, I am part of the social media team of the organization.

ScienceAbroad is an Israel-based nonprofit organization that harnesses the power of senior Israeli scientists living abroad. Through professional and social network, ScienceAbroad inspires connections with local communities, international scientists and with Israel. The network advances scientific achievements, bolsters the Israeli identity of scientists living overseas, and helps facilitate the return of great minds to Israel.Since its inception in 2006, ScienceAbroad has grown to over 3,000 members across 300 campuses and has established 25 branches worldwide run by scientists who volunteer their time and expertise.More than 750 ScienceAbroad members have returned to Israel

SuperGroups

COVID-19 shelter-in-place activtiy:

As part of my activity in the organization, I initiated and organized an online seminar series "SuperGroups", which allows scientists to interact and discuss science. This seminar has been successful in connecting Israeli postdocs are performing their research activities around the world, with faculty members from Israeli universities and research institutes. After the success of the program in the Life Sciences field, the program was extended to other sciences (including physics, chemistry, social sciences etc), and today the program involves a dozen other volunteers from ScienceAbroad.

Life Sciences Symposium

Together with Dr. Tal Pecht, a postdoctoral researcher from University of Bonn, organized an online symposium where postdocs presented their research. See below articles from the press about the meeting.
